Did you know that September is Library Card Sign-up Month? We hope you’ll join us in celebrating!
Sign up for or renew your South Portland Public Library card today to join the fun!
Come join herbalist Chloe at Hinckley Park on Friday, September 4th* at 10:30am to read stories, sing songs, and learn about a few plants that you probably see every day! We will talk about how to identify the plants, their uses and how to prepare them followed by drinking some mint tea together.
Chloe is a lifelong plant enthusiast and has been studying herbs for the past 4+ years including a 3-year long program with Portland herbalist Mischa Schuler. As a new mom, she is excited to be bringing the plants to children and hopes to support the potions she knows they’re already brewing. She currently works as a community herbalist offering free herbs and herbal education to her community.
